Winter hiking in the healthy mountain air
Switch off on a scenic hike and enjoy the fresh, soothing mountain air. By the way, crowded paths are a foreign word in the Lower Engadine. This way you can get away from it all and enjoy the wonderful landscape in peace and quiet.
To the map with the winter walksExploring small and fine mountain villages

Do you feel the urge to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a short time? The picturesque Engadine mountain villages, some of which are really remote, invite you with their sgraffito-ornamented houses and hidden alleys to quietly explore.
Our recommendations for discoverers
- Hof Zuort. A winter hiking trail leads through the Val Sinestra (Landscape of the Year 2011) to the Zuort farm, which is situated in a lonely clearing.
- S-charl. In a side valley near Scuol: In winter only accessible by foot or horse-drawn carriage.
Sur En d'Ardez: The small hamlet on the opposite side of the valley from Ardez can only be reached on foot. Sur En d'Ardez served as a film set for the Schellen-Ursli film. Do you recognize the alleys, some houses and the fountain?
