Swiss National Park
It is the oldest national park in the Alps and was founded in 1914. The three goals are total protection research and information. Strict protection against human influence allows nature to develop uninfluenced and autonomously. This leads to a very high species richness of flora and fauna. The National Park can be explored individually or on a guided hike on 100 km of official hiking routes. In winter the national park is completely closed for nature protection. The National Park Centre in Zernez is open all year round. Under the motto experience, learn and discover, you will be introduced to the theme of the national park with its history and the diversity of nature.Learn more about the National Park
