Engadin Scuol

Ambassador for Engadin Scuol Zernez

Nevin Galmarini

"I think I first got on a snowboard in 1996, when I was ten. My brother started a year before me, and of course I had to copy everything he did. Snowboarding really got to me right from the start and as you can see, I never let go."

Insider tips from the pro

  • Favorite slope: "Siert" under the ski lift Salavina

"There is room for big and fast swings and the steepness is just right. If there is fresh snow and the avalanche situation allows it, there are best freeride possibilities next to the slopes".

  • Favorite bike trail: Through the wild Val Tasna to Ardez

"A challenging single trail from Alp Laret down into the Tasna Valley. Ideal for advanced bikers. At the Tasna creek you cross a bridge and ride on the demanding side down to Ardez".

  • Going-out tip

"After a day on the slopes, locals and tourists meet at the Apres-Ski Bar Marmotta. For those who like it quieter, the Hotel Belvédère Bar offers a glass of wine and a chat in a relaxed atmosphere".
