Out and about with park rangers in the Swiss National Park

The ultimate outdoor job

Established in 1914, the Swiss National Park is the oldest national park in the Alps. It has been listed as a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 1979. Over 170 square kilometres of strictly protected nature offer 29 species of animal and around 200 types of plant an excellent environment in which to flourish, as well as employment for a very special type of professional: the park rangers. We spent a day with Reto Strimer in Val Minger.
