Gluten-free and lactose-free holidays
Over 30 hoteliers and service providers in Scuol Samnaun Val Müstair have teamed up to offer gluten-free and lactose-free holidays, making it the first region in Switzerland to cater specifically to these dietary requirements. Six hotels and restaurants in Lower Engadin and a mountain restaurant in the ski and hiking region offer guests a gluten-free and lactose-free selection of dishes each day. Plus there are six holiday apartments featuring gluten-free kitchen facilities and many shops sell gluten-free and lactose-free groceries.
IG Zöliakie’s gastronomy partners
All service providers that support a gluten-free holiday region are official partners of IG Zöliakie, a non-profit association dedicated to people affected by celiac disease. The participating companies share information with one another and collaborate to provide training courses and other events.
