500 kilometres of signed routes and panoramic trails filled with rugged summits, gorges, mountain passes and Alpine lakes make Lower Engadin one of the most popular mountain biking regions in Switzerland. The staff at the local bike hire shops and guesthouses are passionate about biking and provide friendly service and great insider tips. But it’s the little things that really make our day: catching our breath at the village square, drinking mineral water from the fountain and enjoying the finest Graubünden specialities. Or our countless encounters with the biodiversity of the national park region (particularly during the multi-day bike trips with organised luggage transport). Or the fact that there are 133 places where we can easily jump aboard a train, bus or cable car, depending on our energy levels and where we want to go.
National Park Bike Marathon
The 17th annual National Park Bike Marathon will be held on Saturday 25 August 2018. The marathon route takes participants through the impressive landscape of the Swiss National Park. There are trails of varying lengths (47, 66, 103 and 137 km) that can also be completed in two or four-person teams.Read more
